Sustainability has always been one of the dominant themes throughout our events. The time is now for us to play a bigger part in achieving the global Sustainable Development Goals. BGS Group is committed to organising events in an eco-friendly way. To minimise the environmental impacts we are making a shift towards greener practices and meaningful partnerships.

One of the partnerships is choosing sustainability-oriented venues. This time it is Van der Valk Hotel Schiphol4*. This hotel implements the following sustainability principles:

All heat that is released by generating electricity is reused in the Valk Exclusive Hotels.
All the organic waste from the hotels is used as raw material for bio-energy plants.
All of the Valk trucks that passes the hotels every days saves fuel through aerodynamic spoilers.
Green Key: The International quality mark for sustainable companies in the hospitality industry. Everything and more is done to save the environment without sacrificing comfort and quality for our guests.
