Baker Hughes signed agreement to create a joint venture with C3.ai to support automation and digitization in oil and gas industry with artificial intelligence solutions.

According to the preliminary agreement, Baker Hughes will take a seat on the board of directors in C3.ai and will apply C3.ai’s technologies to increase performance and improve operations. The implementation of AI technology in O&G industry allows to optimize operations and develop planning and safety due to the advanced data processing and predictive maintenance through the whole oil and gas value chain.

The cooperation between these two companies will lead to further AI solutions developments in oil and gas segment based on the C3.ai’s experience in AI implementation and Baker Hughes’ expertise in O&G sector.
